Wow Camara to Chelsea off. Liverpool in touch to say they want him in 2027.

I think you're reading a bit too much. The report is that Liverpool told Camara and Monaco to wait and the deal in turn did not go through with Chelsea. Seems like it all depends on when Macca goes.

Scenes! Absolute scenes!

Yes wait until 2027.

So who's that now that we have booked in 2027, Minteh, Sarr, and now Camara? It's like Jan 2026 all over again with Guehi and Semenyo, no wait...

Post Richard Hughes life starts now.

I hope the club don’t intend to gaslight us with puff pieces. Tony Barrett and Neil Jones, we see you.

Perhaps not Kaiser. I understand everyone is saying the deal will be dependent on Macca leaving, but if it's down to squad space rather than a need to sell, then I believe Endo is in his last year, so would free up a space for Camara. I've also read that Camara has always preferred us so is happy to stay in France for another year.

The Edwards/Hughes tenor ended up being a major clown show, certainly wasn't what anyone expected that's for sure. Going on innuendo there's been a major mess left behind

Question is now, who's going to be employed to pick up the pieces & sort it all out!

LFC PR MACHINE.

9.) 02 Sep 2026
02 Sep 2026 00:23:38
I'm glad they've both gone. Disgusting pair.

10.) 02 Sep 2026

LFC should employ Steven Gerrard as DoF!

11.) 02 Sep 2026
02 Sep 2026 01:00:06
Haissem, why employ Steven Gerrard as DOF? What makes him qualified for the role?

Bazzinga.

12.) 02 Sep 2026
02 Sep 2026 02:16:44
He will give his all to serve LFC.

13.) 02 Sep 2026
02 Sep 2026 05:04:15
Just giving your all isn't always good enough. I'd give my all as an F1 driver, doesn't mean I have the minerals to compete!

14.) 02 Sep 2026
02 Sep 2026 05:16:12
I would also give my all to serve as DoF for LFC. Not sure if that makes me the right candidate though.

The DOF bar isn't exactly high after Hughes is it? You might be alright, Kaizer.

02 Sep 2026 07:49:37
Wow we’re excited for a player that we only made an enquiry for. I have zero faith in anything this club does.

17.) 02 Sep 2026
02 Sep 2026 09:03:50
Whatever it’s about, it’s not about money. We have the biggest PSR headroom in the prem. I am hoping it’s about listening to Iraola and doing what he asks. The signing so far suggests this is likely. He has been clear he wants to give Nyoni much more game time so maybe he sees Camara in his phase 2 rebuild.

18.) 02 Sep 2026
02 Sep 2026 06:48:13
So have the club said Hughes has gone?

19.) 02 Sep 2026
02 Sep 2026 09:02:48
Guess Mike Gordon was ultimately pissed with STC, pulled his Liverpool Black Card from him and told Monaco that we won't be coming in to trump Chelsea's offer in the last minute (Monaco was really hoping to push us to bid higher and for them to make profit).

In any case, on one hand we did not solve our issue in midfield. But on the other, I'm glad STC is now no longer handling our transfers. He ferked it up with Barcola and made us look very desperate. Wouldn't be shocked if he arranged for some kickback for himself.

Keep in touch with Camara? What are we pen friends? In the Xmas party group? Jesus.

{Ed001's Note - showing your age, it is a WhatsApp group these days.}

Pluck any Liverpool fan off the street and I'd imagine all of them would be willing to give their all for LFC. Doesn't make any of us qualified for the role though. SG is a legend but he has shown nothing to prove that he can be a DOF or SD. I'd rather get someone qualified for the role than go down the sentimental route.

I've mentioned it before but I think Rangnick would be a good choice but not sure if we can get him. Ed001 has also suggested Ian Graham and I agree with him too. Proven track record and a Liverpool fan to boot. I'm sure he'd jump at the chance if we approached him

{Ed001's Note - Rangnick is also a good shout.}

22.) 02 Sep 2026
02 Sep 2026 11:03:37
Rangnick is a good shout. Didn't he recommend a few players to the United hierarchy, only for them to turn him down? And the players he recommended, but United rejected, ended up becoming good players.

Ed, aren't you worried that he's a former United manager? If things turn bad, fans could easily turn on him because of his United connection.

{Ed001's Note - that is the sole reason I don't recommend him. Otherwise he would be right at the top of the options list.}

23.) 02 Sep 2026
02 Sep 2026 12:35:01
Didn't Rangnick very publicly call out the players, board and owners at United? So obviously he isn't a yes man, but with Edwards gone, maybe that isn't a deciding factor anymore. I think his time with RB makes him a great option

Why did Ian Graham leave in the first place Ed? was he forced out or did he choose to leave to start his business? He always comes across well whenever I've seen him speak, very much a stats first person but he knows his s**t

Did the "no D-head policy" leave with Klopp as well? Seems like that's no longer a strict rule and I think you need to be selecting signings based on a combination of statistics and less quantifiable things like attitude rather than just one or the other

{Ed001's Note - I don't know why he left, sorry.}

Thanks anyway ed

{Ed001's Note - very welcome mate.}
