Very disappointing start. It stinks of Brendan Rodgers at the minute. At least when Klopp joined there was a feeling straight away around the place that we’d go on to do well. Iraola needs to start getting the team selection right.

Not at Bournemouth anymore. Already 4 points off. Those above him are even worse. We need a RB, LB, two midfielders, Barcola and another winger in the next couple of days to have any chance.

Two games in, fans already on the back of the new manager. Totally predictable: hound out a title-winning manager, and then crucify the new manager during the predicted transition.

Do some fans not factor in the mantra of sporting success: pain and glory.

Sacking Slot was always going to set us back a few years. If you had not factored that in, then may I welcome you to what a slow rebuild looks like.

Jurgen Klopp's first three PL games were draws? It took Jurgen four years to win a trophy!

The first thing Jurgen addressed was the crowd getting behind the team. Look at Newcastle's twelfth man last week, look at our twelfth man today? He said in his programme notes today, he wants the crowd to show passion at our home games, he knows, like last week, how vital the twelfth man is, (4-0 versus Barcelona not jogging the memory?)

Take the positives.

Andoni has come from a goal behind four times in the PL so far, now 18 games unbeaten in the PL. His biggest battles will be with John Henry, as it looks like the selling of Gakpo is the cash funds for Barcola! (hoping not?)

Two PL games from 38 to be played is 5.26% of the PL season so far, you're throwing the towel in with circa 95% of the season to go, the PL is a marathon not a 100 yard sprint!

I don't think Iraola has the personality of Klopp to get the fans behind the team the way he did. Klopp had also won multiple titles. I don't think players will run through brick walls for Andoni.

I just don't see it with him. We had Alonso there for the taking, who won a league title unbeaten, instead let Hughes bring in his mate. I'd love to be wrong, but I struggle to see it.

I don't get how can no manager ask for an upgrade on Frimpong? Like it is ultra obvious in games he is a massive issue. What is he doing in training that managers are not on his case? If I was the new manager I would be shouting at every door and every presser to get a new RB. Like at this point even Degen, Johnson and Clyne were a better RB than this lad. Like I would sign Sotiris Kyrgiakos again and play him out position at RB than play Frimpong!!

It's not even about results.

Where is the Iraola press? Where is the desire?

Klopp had an absolute shambles of team when he joined and you could see instant improvement game 1 against Tottenham.

I don't see any improvements at all from last year. We are still unorganised and laboured and fitting players in roles they can't fulfill.

After binning the previous manager, we have to be patient with the new one. There were a lot of positives in this performance: Munoz had a stunning home debut, Isak scored, and Wirtz had a proper influence on the 2nd half. Mac added bite and passing from the base of midfield.

As to the negatives, our first choice fullbacks still can't cross.

Hi, I rarely post. I'm probably only regurgitating what others have said. Frimpong is brainless. Confidence is low, so the decent players aren't automatically doing things, leading to slow and predictable play, but also lack of forward movement up top.

We're f***ed. 🤣 Penalty was harsh. Referee was quick to give free kicks all over the pitch for Forest, but didn’t think pushes on our players warranted anything.

If we buy Sarr, he won't be replacing Gakpo.

I think he'll end up replacing Isak in the starting lineup.

Glad he was in good position for the goal today. Without that, he was shocking again.

The money spent on him should have been used for two wingers or a midfielder and RB. Carragher could be right that last season summer could be a huge mistake.

Ok, Isak has been poor but it doesn't help if there are no decent crosses all game. I don't think that part of Frimpong's game can improve that much.

The club were looking for a striker loan as cover and I did mention the names I was given, but nothing was moving forward. I would expect something to happen now. Iraola barely has any players that would be his profile of player. He's going to struggle with this group as it is.

I know it wasn't a great result but I feel it was an improvement on last week.
Second half was definitely better. Munoz looks a good signing and has grit, what we need.
Isak has got off the mark so hopefully that lifts him.


I thought Wirtz's goal was good also; if it weren't for the offside, seen a little more of him today even though it was very tight for space.
As others are saying a legit DM would do us wonders and Minteh's crossing would help us massively.

Rio doesn't get into my team, unfortunately - he needs to cut out the stupid needless step overs. No end product or balls in the box.

Think Dom is best at RB - Frimpong needs to be binned off.

Trey did really well when he came on.

Think Cody and Munoz earnt the starts next game to be honest.

Midfield is a big problem.



Could we go Jacquet RB, Araujo comes in at CB, Trey in the midfield and Dom on the RW position.

Think AI needs to ignore the name on the back of the shirts, and think about who best fits his system.

And please stop the negativity against Wirtz, think if we sort out the midfield and wingers he becomes incredible.

Just my two cents.

Why doesn't VAR look at foul throws before the lead up to the penalty? Delap lifts his leg up when he takes the throw.

First two games of the season... Newcastle who have had the heart ripped out of their team and will not get in the top 10, lucky to get a point. Forest who will absoultley be a team that is there or there abouts for relegation. We play at home and it will be a loss. This is worrying and on this form forget top 10, forget anything other than a relegation battle.

Barcola is not the answer. We had no steal no guts its all very weak. Massive issues. 1 point from 2
games already 5 off the top, the club is in a mess. The squad is a massively expensive bang average one.
