I think we have reached a point of no-return with Slot. I am trying to understand what's happened; from Premiership winners to this. In his first season, did Slot think 'ok, this is klopp's team and they won the Premiership, so let the players do what made them successful and next season, I'll do it my way'.

If this was his reasoning, then we were really lucky. And if what we're seeing this season is HIS way of playing football, then he needs to go tonight.

I suppose it's a bit like a car. You spend a load of money fixing it up and making it look shiny. But all of a sudden the brakes stop working, most of the warning lights are on, it's vomiting black smoke and its in limp mode.
I think I'd accept my mistake and buy a new one.

You’d often promote the assistant temporarily, but not in this situation.

Steven really couldn’t do a worse job, but if he came in and we stabilised it would be hard not to give him the job permanently. That wouldn’t be the right thing longer term.

We’ll have to go all out for a permanent replacement. Iraola is the most likely but a very big step up and the place is a mess no matter how good we think the players are. Not ideal for anyone, especially a young coach. At least when Jurgen came in he had time, not sure a new person will have that luxury. Maybe Emery.

Slot is worse than Rodgers. Should have been sacked ages ago. Don't expect anything to happen anytime soon. He'll get the backing.

Well, looks like i picked the wrong night to quit smoking. We literally couldn't win a free library membership. The team is so unbalanced it's unbelievable. Then when all else fails, drop Konate which further exposes an already shoddy defence, and bring on another attacker in Chesia. Who by the way, should get more minutes. As soon as Van dyke reached for the moon when giving away the penalty, i just thought, oh, here we go. That's that then.

The plus was Slobby, he was everywhere tonight.

Looking at the external noise in that Klopp mentioned Gerrard as being coach, and the fact that he was at the ground tonight, could he be lined as a interim successor to Slot? Just until the board find a suitable long term replacement?

I'm one of some that's kinda sad when some of us started to question Slot at the beginning of the season about how bad we played (but we ended up winning those games) .

I'm starting to feel worried now. He broke the team (I mean it by selling some that won him the league last season), and the new additions seem not clicking. Even those still here are not clicking.

Maybe it's indeed he won the league because it is Klopp's team. If it really is, then maybe he is not the man for us judging by how things are going on right now.

Changes need to be done. I don't know what. Change the manager? New coach? Slap the players on the face to wake them up? I don't know. But it needs to be done quick!

We just aren't physically fit enough to compete, which is leading to tired minds and basic errors. The tactics aren't great either ?

On a positive Szobo take a bow, Kerkez showed a lot of fight and Isak showed us with that one snap shot what we have to look forward once this bad run ends.
