Just read this online:
"City's monumental success due to monumental cheating, should receive a monumental sentence."
I concur, btw.

Absolutely, whatever happens, the punihment must go out of its way to ensure there's no chance of them rejoining the Premiership for at least 5 years. Anything less than that is an absolute disrace.
09 Oct 2026 14:10:23
Not saying your wrong Chewy but I'd be amazed if it's anything even near as severe as that.60 odd point deduction to paint it as certain relegation, until they have a 90 odd point season nd end up staying up anyway. A massive fine also that will be like spare change to their owners.
09 Oct 2026 14:41:16
I completely agree Florian, I don't actually see it going there, that's just what believe should happen. Personal feelings aside, to be so blatantly cheating for (over) a decade would undoubtedly see you permanently banned and titles stripped in almost any other sport. Whatever City get, it won't be enough.
10 Oct 2026 10:43:51
How can you concur with a monumental sentence from a quote that doesn't actually say what the monumental sentence is and bear in mind that any sentence is dependent on the appeal from Manchester City so a monumental can't actually be enforced, yet.
Oooh, I've just realised what a monumental sentence looks like.
10 Oct 2026 11:25:27
That comment was a monumental load of sh** ?.
11 Oct 2026 12:24:46
Monuments are often full of sh**t, Chew Chew.
I blame that Phil Daniels for feeding the pigeons and sometimes feeding the sparrows too.
I don't care if it gives him an enormous sense of wellbeing or not.
Grrrrr.
09 Oct 2026 07:30:17
What do you guys think about Guardiola's open support of City's owners? I personally thought he would stay far away from the circus. I find it baffling that he's taking this stand.
Agree2
09 Oct 2026 09:06:46
More than likely that he knew all about it and so has no choice but to stand with them.
In most peoples eyes this guilty verdict throws shade on every thing that he accomplished at City and highlights just how unbelievable Klopp's achievements were. HI don't see it as him supporting the owners but acting with his own best interests at heart.
09 Oct 2026 09:24:52
He is protecting his legacy. Interestingly he said he trusts the owners which gives him the out the he is amazed that they lied.
09 Oct 2026 09:41:24
Pep is all about himself, it's self explanatory.
09 Oct 2026 11:42:42
I'm sure there were plenty enough brown envelopes to secure Pep's support for the sake of publicity.
Pep's been cheating his whole life, so it's no surprise he too is doubling down, he was caught doing steroids when he was a player and he joined City after they'd already been caught cheating by UEFA (and only got off on a technicality). I'm sure the fact that they were willing to pay him double under the table was a massive factor in his decision to join them.

Hi y'all. is there any news on Jacquet's fitness? ✌

08 Oct 2026 08:59:51
It's a bit loose around the shoulders. I'll get my coat, I mean Jacquet.
08 Oct 2026 13:47:54
These Jacquet jokes are truly hilarious, some of you guys need to become stand up comedians.
08 Oct 2026 19:29:37
He is fit to play.
10 Oct 2026 01:40:34
Absolutely correct 5th element. Please, all of you, Jacquet in will ya!
10 Oct 2026 10:48:13
I heard he was out but I reckon Jacquet has something up his sleeve.
I hope he is fully fit because if he breaks down early on the team will be left hung out to dry.
07 Oct 2026 13:26:44
Bit off topic for on here, but can anyone sort me an ounce of what Ronaldo's been smoking.
Some player, no doubt, but that statement, wowzers haha, definitely sends himself a card and some flowers on Valentine's Day that boy.
Agree3
07 Oct 2026 15:54:04
Not sure what he's smoking, but 10, 000 hours spent in front of the mirror telling yourself "you're the best" would be a good start.
07 Oct 2026 20:21:41
Radio rental mate.
06 Oct 2026 20:24:29
Wonder will City again spend big in the next Transfer window to load the team further in case they get a transfer ban at the end of the season.

07 Oct 2026 15:44:30
You'd have to question the type of player who would willingly sign for a club in these circumstances.
07 Oct 2026 15:54:45
We've to question everyone who signed for them since 2018 so Shipley.
06 Oct 2026 15:46:21
City and their creative accounting reminds me of the way the Mafia used to do business. The way they have tried to buy and ingratiate their way into Manchester's politics at a local level and the veiled threats at a national level.
Similar corrupt trajectory Sicily Italy then New York.

Charles Schwab ova here!
06 Oct 2026 22:25:47
To be fair, Bauldy, there is a big difference. UAE has actually built stuff in Manchester. Stuff that hasn't yet fallen down.
The Sicilian Mafia cut off water and electricity to whole districts of Palermo, so they could move the population out, bulldoze the Baroque town centres, and put up shoddy housing blocks - while still controlling the water supply. They forced their way into every single construction commission, and that's why you see roads to nowhere all over Western Sicily - with bridges that you have to be brave to drive across.
They won construction commissions to rebuild towns after an earthquake - but not a brick has been laid, nor a single home rebuilt.
Their power comes not from the billions they command from the drug trade, but their basic control of water and electricity. If a politician goes against them, then they just turn off that supply - or murder that politician, magistrate or policeman, which they have done 100s of times.
07 Oct 2026 16:02:40
90% of UAE's UK investments came after the contents of their servers was hacked and handed to authorities. The best criminals don't appear to be criminals at all.
06 Oct 2026 12:27:48
You can't discuss ramifications for man city when they're still blatantly playing the same game.
I'll refer back to the £1billion puma deal I discussed back early in the summer. Man city have made extremely inflated deals with other companies AFTER their allegations and only just recently. There's no way to justify these sponsor deal's. The book's are getting cooked and these companies are getting incentives in other ways.
Man city have essentially turned into the "high end" art business so you can fill in the blanks. If anyone's lost.
Imagine a ridiculous painting being sold for tens of millions.
Someone or an entity need to put a stop to this machine because it's out of control. Man city is still being set up to dominate financially in the future with how they're operating.
It's very hard to, to nail them down on these recent sponsorships. Puma could have offered man city 3 billion. It would have brought on mass suspicion but a company is allowed to offer what they deem is a "good deal".
If man city don't change owners, nothing's stopping this animal for continuing on as normal.

Completely agree, there's no question another investigation needs to be launched to cover from 2018 onwards, I don't believe for one second that they've changed their ways, they'd gotten away with it for a decade and felt they had the safety net of the 'government funding' angle as well as the UAE's very conveniently timed UK investments, which I think warrants investigation into parliament.
06 Oct 2026 15:26:59
I wonder how much of a good deal the sponsors will consider it when City are playing Solihull Moors in the National League next season?
06 Oct 2026 17:51:34
But then do Puma know about the inflationary amounts that City are mentioning? And if so. are they not also guilty of some financial laws?
06 Oct 2026 20:53:36
If they are stating Puma paid £1billion to sponsor the club it must be the biggest sports sponsorship kit deal ever?
Liverpool ( who sell much more kit) world wide didn't get anywhere near that some from ADIDAS?
It winds me up to see these clearly over inflated deals with no action being taken.
There has to be a Movie in this.
The way this is going I can see it bringing down the Premier League, as city just won't back down. The PL members may have to vote to throw them out.
07 Oct 2026 16:12:32
£1billion over 10 years though, which is £100m a season, when you break it down, there's nothing suspicious about the £1b figure in itself. Madrid, Barca and United are all in that region. The question is, what percentage are Puma actually paying?
05 Oct 2026 17:01:47
Just a bit of Banter about City game.
On SoMed, I have seen quite a few calls for Anfield to give City a welcome fit for cheats.
(espec from Gary Neville. or should i say "Gerry Navel" based on his strange views ?). He reckons, Anfield will be ruthless ?.
Personally, I would hope and think Anfield will be more humourous rather than nasty.
(Hopefully, no abuse of coaches etc. just turning backs at coaches is better).
Regarding humourous stuff, I provide a few songs below for fans to chant.
Maybe other posters can add much better chants to wind up City team?
Moody Blue (by Elvis)
"Oh, Moody blue,
Tell me who I'm talkin' to
You're like the night and day
And it's hard to say
> Who's paying You."
Buy me Love (Beatles):
"I'll buy you diamond rings, my friend
If it makes you feel alright
I'll give you anything my friend
If it makes you feel alright
I'll give you all I've got to give
If you say you love me too
I don't care too much for money
'Cause money can't buy me love"
Sunny Afternoon (the Kinks):
"The tax man's taken all City's dough
And left them in a stately home
>> Cheat'n' on a sunny afternoon!
Now I can't sail my yacht
Premier League is take'n all I got
All I've got's this sunny afternoon."
"Save me, save me, save me from this squeeze.
I got a big fat mama tryna break me
And I love to live so pleasantly
Live this life of luxury
>> Cheat'n on a sunny afternoon!"
Apologies if similar already been posted.

How about something nice and repeatable like
"Sham-chester na na na na na"
"Sham-chester na na na na na"
Etc.
06 Oct 2026 07:36:04
Have a feeling I'll be singing most owner's don't cheat but Abu Dhabi dooo a lot on Sunday. Might start practicing.
Also heard a good version of Wonderwall.
06 Oct 2026 09:47:33
Nothing complex that might get lost in the crowd. Keep it clear and simple.
"We don't know who you're paying"
"A billion pound to buy the league but you can't buy a history!"
Something like that.
03 Oct 2026 17:13:37
Imagine, if you will, a scenario, where instead of City's coach being bombarded with abuse, it is instead met by absolute silent stares from everyone, as it passes through the streets on its way to Anfield.
'End of the World' stuff.

I say we stand on top of the bus, and stare at them, silently, from there. A few of us will be sacrificed, as we fall off the bus due to hitting our heads on bridges and poles, but that will certainly send a message.
04 Oct 2026 15:29:02
I think turning our backs to the bus would give a clear message.
04 Oct 2026 20:09:31
Like that idea Jari.

Just bring the kick off forward to a quarter past one.

Rigsy that went straight over my head at first. Haha. Well done sir. ?.
